A year on and the Saturday side made it through to this floodlit final again at Langford FC.

The journey was an interesting one: they drew their first game in August 2015 against Elstow Abbey Reserves and then lost 6-7 on penalties. It wasn't until March 2016 that they learnt they had been reinstated after Elstow folded. The semi-final was a replay of last year's final against Shefford Town & Campton Reserves, but the best display of the season saw the lads win 3-0.

The final was decided by a soft penalty awarded to Henlow after 20 minutes - after that few chances were created and a disappointing game fizzled out into a 1-0 win for the higher-division side.
